I can not express my appreciation for activstars enough. From Mesh, the Lookout Mountain coordinator, to Colin to boss man they are a top notch organization. We've been playing in the soccer program for a few years now and we have loved every minute. Our team has been playing together the entire time. These kids and families have connected so well and it's because of the team building and structure that activstars has instilled in the program. They not only are making the future bright by influencing the youth, they do a lot of community outreach and fundraisers. If you want to be apart of a great organization, join activstars! Great organization for soccer! Abby the Head Coach is absolutely phenomenal with the kids and has tremendous amounts of playing experience and it shows in her coaching. My son loves playing here and we love the atmosphere with the parents while watching games. 5 stars!read more

My son is going on his 5th season of karate through Activstars. Prior to karate he did a season of soccer. His sensei Joeffrey is amazing. He truly cares about his students and uses great charisma which keeps his students motivated and wanting to come back every week to learn more and test their abilities. He teaches self defense moves that are extremely beneficial in today's world. He encourages parents to not only assist in his dojo but to also join and learn along side of you young one. Excellent outlet for your child to learn all the good qualities you would like them to learn, discipline honesty respect motivation and much more. All while having fun at the same time.read more

We love Activstars. My bonus daughter has been in cheer 7-8 yrs and she has really enjoyed it. She loves her coach she has now. She enjoyed going to soccer too.

Coach Christen at Grace Baptist has been an amazing example of leadership and support for our team. When I first started bringing my kids to activstars I wasn't happy with the experience our first semester. I voiced my concerns and the location\coach was not there there next semester so hopefully they meant our concerns amongst the parents were taken seriously. 2nd season on we have been at the independence location with Coach Alivia and coach Robyn and have had an amazing experience. The knowledge and patience they have and dedication to my girls and ask the other kids is amazing. Always available for communication and understanding with parents and the cheerleaders. They make it fun and exciting for my girls and made them feel like they finally belong somewhere. They've decided they want to do this life long and we have more been involved a few years. My daugther Harper is on varsity with STL JAGS we love coach Brandie she is the best my daugther loves cheer and has learned so much from her. My daughter wanted to do Cheerleading and I am so glad I found a place that has amazing coaches and really cares about the children and making their dreams come true. Absolutely love this organization! My daughter has been apart of this since 2nd grade. When my daughter first started she was very shy and didn’t have very much confidence. I can’t thank coach michelle enough for helping build my daughter’s skills and confidence. She has always been patient and pushed my daughter to be the best version of herself she can be! We love you coach Michelle! When we moved coach michelle helped the transition to a new team and my daughters new coach christen is also amazing! She has helped make my daughter comfortable on the new team and continues to help my daughter to enhance her skills and be the best she can be! My daughter had no cheer experience when she started cheer and we didn't know if it was going to be what she hoped for. Fast forward 2 and a half years and she is more in love with the sport than ever before! Coach Natika at Goldenrod in Wichita, KS is a phenomenal coach! She sees the potential in her athletes and encourages and works with them to help them grow! We are so excited to start another semester and make more memories! We love activstars cheer in JoCo KS! My daughter just finished her second “season” with Coach Brandi at rising star/westridge and the amount of growth and technique gained is wildly immeasurable! Plus the cost can’t be beat, $9 a week and a $40 competition fee. My daughter has gained a lot of physical strength as a base/back spot in addition to gaining so many new skills. Brandi is the perfect amount of seriousness without being intimidating (I’m sure 90’s parents know exactly what I’m talking about! Coaches back in the day were scary!!) Brandi has gone above and beyond in stretching herself across practice to support the whole team and individuals that need it. My daughter has a great sense of accomplishment and confidence after these two seasons and we can’t wait for the third!read more

Coach Kaylah is the absolute best! She is such a kind and patient coach. You can really tell she cares about her athletes and loves what she does. We have been with her for 6 cheer seasons so far, across 2 teams. I would travel to any location to have her as my daughter’s coach.read more

Coach Denae truly has a love for this sport and it’s shines through my daughters. They were nervous about cheerleading but because of Coach Denae they look forward to practice each week and the future that they can have in the cheerleading world. Coach Caliesta is absolutely amazing. She is patient and kind. I have two girls in cheer, JV and All Stars. Both girls love and adore her. Her routines are unique and so much fun.My JV girl said she feels proud to be on the team and that Caliesta is the best Coach. My All Star girl said Caliesta challenges her to be better and work on her skills and can’t wait for summer session.We are incredibly impressed with Caliesta and the ActivStars program. She understand that success is not just about raw talent but also about attitude.I can’t imagine having to maintain the attention of 30+ 3-7 year old kids every Monday, but somehow, she does it!My only complaint about activestars so far is regarding competitions!! It seems like children are allowed to attend regardless how many practices they miss, they is disheartening to a team that’s worked so hard and practiced together! It affects stunts groups and placement every practice! I wish they upheld a policy, if you miss 3 practices, you don’t get to attend comp!read more

Coach Caliesta Goodwin is an amazing Coach with activstars! My daughter Addyson has been with her a few years now at the Lookout Mountain location starting on the All Star team working her way up to Pro/Premier this year! She has built confidence in my daughter and supported her through all her good and bad moments! There is no one better I would want to be a role model to my girl in this cheer life she loves! My daughter has been doing cheer since Spring 2022. We were looking for an organization like All Star cheer but didn’t want to pay the thousands of dollars that comes with those teams. Someone had recommended ActivStars to me. Explained that they go join any team and that they didn’t have to actually go to the school where practices are held. We signed up not knowing much about the program. We paid a little over $100 for 16 weeks. We had to pay for the uniform if she wanted to compete at the end of the season, which she did. We bought the uniform online used from another cheer kid.One thing that threw me off was that the practices are closed. I’d never experience this before so it sucked at first. But by the 3rd practice I was good lol my daughter loved it!!! She had her first stunt clinic. This was about 1/2 way through the season. It was really good and super valuable for me daughter. We’ve had 2 coaches in our time with ActivStars. (We’re about to start our 4th season) the coaches have been the best! They push my daughter just the right amount. They care soooo much! Highly recommend the cheer program. It’s everything we were looking for and it’s way cheaper and everything is in state (except Pro team and up).read more
